What the Demo was

Frogwares previously released a playable Steam Demo that offered roughly one hour of The Sinking City 2. It was a preview build, not a promise that the same Demo would remain downloadable after the full game launched.

The full game released on August 18, 2026. That changes the search intent: players now want to know whether the old Demo is still available, whether it has been replaced by the full product, and where to report a broken or outdated build.

How to check current availability

1. Open the Steam product page.
2. Look for a separate Demo entry or a current play/download button.
3. Check the page’s announcements and date rather than trusting an old video description.

Demo versus full release
